Aloha All:

As Team Leader for Hawaii Go Local the Team Leader Retreat, was a REAL TREAT. It was my 1st visit to BFAS and combined with their 25th Anniversary it was almost overwhelming with activities, fun, and learning experiences. The best part though aside from meeting the other Team Leaders, was the hands on volunteering with the animals there.

I invite those of you reading this to apply a 1+1 strategy. For every 1 new network member who signs up, they should in turn find another to sign up, who in turns does so with another.

The most peaceful time I experienced while volunteering at Best Friends in early June was actually talking to Cyrus and his artist retreat attendees, under a beautiful tree surrounded by bunnies.Cyrus does a wonderful job above of describing the magic of this land and the mission of the people who occupy it. All the gold or money in the world couldn't be more valuable than this natural setting among animals.

Thank you for the lovely conversation and hospitality, Cyrus. My daughter and I will never, ever forget the blessings of our visit.

Once you have your goals all lined up in perfect order, love of animals,great reccomendations, great customer service skills, how do you actually get to be a part of the sanctuary?

Keller is not far from me, about 40 minutes,and this is the first I've heard of Little Orphan Angels. So glad to know about them!

What a bummer this isn't occuring during the volunteer retreat/Kanab Pioneer Days the following weekend! Are there any other races or walks in Kanab or at the Sanctuary the weekend of July 24-26?
